Hello and welcome to the Lake Travis Middle School PTO!
We achieved a great milestone getting through the first week of school, so a big congratulations to everyone is in order. Walking through the halls during the LTMS Round-Up a couple of weeks ago was great as I got to see families and students in person. Seeing students interacting with each other about their classes, lockers, and lunchtimes was especially welcomed.
As a reminder, Mr. Wolff mentioned in his Knight News newsletter that went out on Friday, that the in-person Curriculum Night has been postponed. Curriculum Night will now take place virtually, so be on the lookout for notifications from each of your student’s teachers with information about how to access the virtual presentation they have compiled for you to watch at your convenience. If you have any questions or concerns about the information provided in their presentation, please reach out to your child's teacher as they would greatly appreciate your feedback and will work with you to answer any questions you have.
We would like to express our sincerest appreciation to those who have joined our PTO. The membership dues along with the donations made as part of our “No Hassle Fundraiser” and the sales from the LTMS Spirit Store are helping us get closer to our PTO goal of raising $15,000. With your help, the funds we raise will help cover the cost of activities planned for the entire school year.
We have some work to do in reaching our goal, so if you have not yet made a donation as part of the “No Hassle Fundraiser” or you would like to purchase some of the great-looking apparel from our Spirit Store, it is not too late!
Join our PTO, we would love to have you. Members receive our monthly newsletter, have access to volunteer sign-ups, Membership Toolkit (MTK) notifications through the app, participation in surveys and polls, and access to the student directory. Please join us for our first General Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 9:00 am.
