On March 28, your child will participate in Day of Service alongside every student at Lake Travis Middle Sschool. This community outreach event has become a cherished tradition, bringing together students, families, local businesses, and organizations in a collective effort to make a positive impact on the Greater Austin Area and our Lake Travis Community.
For the past seven years, LTMS has been at the forefront of community engagement, facilitating five Day of Service events that have touched the lives of countless individuals. This event is a testament to LTMS and LTMS PTO's commitment to fostering empathy, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility in our students.
Every student will participate in Day of Service, whether they go off-campus to designated service sites or stay on-campus to perform service work through other means. More information will be coming about service site assignments and our volunteer needs. In the meantime, we must secure funding for the event - for transportation, service site supplies, snacks and water for all volunteers, Return-to-School Rally activities, and t-shirts for every student, staff member, and volunteer participating.
