Message from the PTO President

December 2022

Happy Holidays!!

Our PTO rolled out the GiftCrowd platform earlier this month where we collected your donations for the entire LTMS staff. This morning (12/19/22), each one received an email with their gift amount and links to shop for gift cards to their favorite places. With your help we were able to gift each teacher, aide, faculty member, etc. $52.00!

On Thursday before break, we announced the winner of the Day of Service T-shirt Art Design Contest. 7th grader Jane Law is the lucky winner chosen by our esteemed panel of judges consisting of admin & teachers. We would like to thank ALL the students who submitted their art; we received 156 entries! Our LTMS students are so talented and we have plans to highlight & share the top 25 entries in the New Year, so watch for those on display at school!

The LTMS Day of Service is scheduled for Thursday, April 6. There are several ways that you can help support this event. We encourage you to review the sponsorship flyer for information about how to help us raise the funds needed.

Due to our generous Knight Community, we were able to collect a total of: $4,992, enabling us to send each faculty member $52 to spend. Thank you!

Parent & Student Resources

As part of our district’s commitment to student safety and mental health, Lake Travis ISD is pleased to launch the revised "Cavs Who Care" anonymous reporting tip line, effective Monday, October 31st.

Concerns can continue to be reported in one of two ways:

Students can report bullying, suicide concerns, depression, threats, cutting, abuse, fights, drugs, alcohol, weapons, or any other type of dangerous situation that threatens their safety or the safety of others. Reports will be addressed by a trained team of crisis personnel, school officials, and law enforcement officers, when necessary.
